Most engagements run 4 to 10 weeks depending on scope. Discovery alone usually takes a week -- you'll have a written outcome statement, scope, and timeline before any code is written. You'll see working software every Friday from week one.
It depends entirely on scope, which is exactly why we don't publish a flat rate -- a landing page and a multi-tenant SaaS platform aren't the same price. The discovery call is free and ends with a real number, not a range designed to get you on a longer sales call.
A senior engineer, every time -- the same person you talk to on the discovery call is the person building your product. No junior handoffs, no outsourced layers you didn't agree to.
Yes. By default, you own everything we build for you upon final payment, including full source access. This is written into every statement of work, not left ambiguous.
That's most of what we do. We regularly step into existing projects -- adding a feature, fixing performance, integrating AI -- without needing to rebuild from scratch first.
Mostly TypeScript, Next.js, and React on the frontend, with Node.js, Convex, or Postgres on the backend depending on the project's needs. We also work with Firebase, Stripe, Clerk, and AI APIs from OpenAI and Anthropic. If your stack is different, tell us on the call -- we'll be upfront if it's not a fit.
Directly, with the engineer building your product -- not through a project manager relaying messages. Most clients use email or a shared Slack channel. You'll get a working demo every week regardless of how you prefer to communicate day to day.
We stay close post-launch -- fixing issues, iterating based on real usage, and extending features as your product meets real users. This isn't a separate retainer sales pitch; it's part of how every engagement is scoped from the start.
